I live in Playa del Carmen and have on 10+ occasions taken friends and visitors to Playa Xpu-Ha Restaurant. Service is always so-so, and prices are not cheap. The time before this I was charged 2700 twice on my credit card and had to fight with the bank to get back the money. This time around, we came in around 12.45 and ordered drinks.

Take the main highway 307 directly south from Playa del Carmen towards Tulum for about 15 miles. There is a sign marking the entrance on the left-hand side of the highway not long after passing Puerto Aventuras.
